Commissioner’s Court Regular Session Agenda 3/9/2026
THE PECOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET IN REGULAR SESSION ON MONDAY, MARCH 9, 2026, AT 10:00 A.M., IN THE COUNTY COURTROOM, PECOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 103 W. CALLAGHAN, FORT STOCKTON, TEXAS.
1. Prayer.
2. Public Comments on Agenda Items.
3. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Minutes of Previous Meeting(s).
4. Court to consider and/or act upon request from ET Gathering & Processing, LLC, to bore El Paso Road in Precinct 4, to replace existing Natural Gas Line.
5. Court to consider and/or act upon paying remaining balance to Axon for the Lease Agreement of Body Cameras for the Pecos County Sheriff’s Office/Jail, to be paid from SB-22 Law Enforcement Grant 2026.
6. Court to consider and/or act upon request from the Pecos County Sheriff’s Office to purchase Three 2026 Chevy Tahoe’s from Buy Board, to be paid from SB 22 Law Enforcement Grant 2026.
7. Court to consider and/or act upon request from Precinct 4 to utilize Fort Stockton Park Fence Improvement Funds to pay Gorge’s Electric Co, for new Electric Installation for the Park Pavilion and Water Well.
8. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Inter-local Agreement with Fort Stockton Economic Development Corporation and Precinct 2, for the purchase and installation of Batting Cages for the Rooney Park Softball Fields, Martin Shuster, and Pat Taylor Fields.
9. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Tax Refund Application(s), presented by Tax Assessor/Collector.
10. Court to consider and/or act upon paying RecSupply remaining balance from previous purchase order, due to price increase, for the Iraan and Sheffield Pool Diving Boards, to be paid from Iraan/Sheffield Swimming Pool Budget.
11. Court to consider and/or act upon approving payment to Jorge’s Electric Co., for Electric installation for the new Golf Cart Storage Bays, to be paid from Budgeted Project Funds.
12. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Payment to LT Construction for new Golf Cart Storage Bays Concrete Approaches, to be paid from Budgeted Project Funds.
13. Court to consider and/or act upon approving quote from Hines Pool and Spa, Inc., to repair Water Pump System for Comanche Swimming Pool, to be paid from Contingency Funds. (Amount up to $35,000.00)
14. Court to consider and/or act upon allowing Precinct 2, to Build a Wheelchair Ramp for the Club Room at Rooney Park, to be paid from Budgeted Funds.
15. Court to award extension of Aggregate and Emulsion Bids, (Crushed Limestone, Crushed Aggregate, CSS-IH Emulsion (or equivalent), and CRS-2 Emulsion (or equivalent). Bids opened in the Pecos County Auditors’ Office at 3:00p.m. on March 4, 2026.
16. Court to award bid for 50,000 Tons (more or less) of Crushed Limestone (#1 & #2 Flex Base); price quoted should include: (1) freight, delivered charges to Fort Stockton, Iraan, Imperial & Coyanosa, (2) at yard (not delivered). Bid was received and opened in the Pecos County Auditor’s Office, by 3:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
17. Court to award bid for 10,000 tons (more or less) of Crushed Aggregate, State Grade #3, #4, #4 Modified, and #5; price quoted should include: (1) freight, delivered charges to Fort Stockton, Iraan, Imperial, Coyanosa, Hwy 2023, Harral Road & Puckett Road, (2) at yard (not delivered). Bid was received and opened in the Pecos County Auditor’s Office, by 3:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
18. Court to award bid for 100,000 Gallons (more or less) of CSS-IH Emulsion (or equivalent); price quoted should include a minimum of 2 hours demurrage charge and freight charges for delivery to Fort Stockton, Iraan, Imperial & Coyanosa. Bid was received and opened in the Pecos County Auditor’s Office, by 3:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
19. Court to award bid for 100,000 Gallons (more or less) of CRS-2 Emulsion (or Equivalent); price quoted should include a minimum of 2 hours demurrage charge and freight charges for delivery to Fort Stockton, Iraan, Imperial and Coyanosa. Bid was received and opened in the Pecos County Auditor’s Office, by 3:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
20. COUNTY TREASURER TO PRESENT:
A. Court to approve or disapprove Financial Report.
B. Court to consider and/or approve payment of County Overtime.
21. COUNTY AUDITOR TO PRESENT:
A. Court to approve or disapprove request for Line-Item Transfers and Budget Amendments.
B. Court to approve or disapprove Reports of County Office(s).
C. Court to approve or disapprove Financial Report.
D. Court to examine and approve or disapprove all Accounts.
22. Open discussion with Public and News Media on today’s Agenda Items.
