THE PECOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET IN REGULAR SESSION ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2025, AT 10:00 A.M. IN THE COUNTY COURTROOM, PECOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 103 W. CALLAGHAN, FORT STOCKTON, TEXAS.
AGENDA:
1. Prayer.
2. Public Comments on Agenda Items.
3. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Minutes of Previous Meeting(s).
4. Court to consider and/or act upon Lease Agreement with C&J Cable LLC., for the Cowboy Church Building.(201 A Street).
5. Court to consider and/or act upon appointing additional Members to the Pecos County Historical Commission for 2025-2026.
6. Court to consider and/or act upon allowing Economic Development Director to Register and Travel to ARCIT Annual Conference in Grapevine Texas. (March 31st through April 2, 2025).
7. Court to consider and/or act upon Pecos County Sheriff’s Office Annual Racial Profiling Report/ Deputies Contact Report for year 2024.
8. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Inter-local Agreement with Brewster County, for housing Pecos County Sheriff’s Office Inmates.
9. Court to consider and/or act upon adding General Victims Assistance Grant – Direct Services Program for the 83rd District Attorney’s Office. (2024-2025).
10. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Items for the 4-H Auction, to be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025.
11. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Tax Refund Application(s), as presented by Tax Assessor/Collector.
12. Court to consider / act upon approving partial payment No.01 to West Texas Contractors in the amount of $75,000.00 for phase 1, for procurement and delivery of Liner for Pecos County Golf Course.
13. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Agreement with EMS Technology Solutions, LLC, for Narcotics Tracking Safe License, required for the Compliance and Monitoring of Narcotics, to be paid from JRAC Pass-Thru Funds.
14. Court to consider and/or act upon request from Precinct 2 to demolish and remove 10,200 sq ft of PIP (Pour in Place) Surfacing around Comanche Springs Pool.
15. Court to consider and/or act upon request from Precinct 1 to purchase 2024 Silverado 2500 regular Cab Pickup, to be paid from Park 1 Budgeted Funds.
16. Court to consider and/or act upon request from Precinct 1 to purchase a 2024 John Deere Gator, to be paid from Park 1 Budgeted Funds.
17. Court to consider and/or act upon allowing Precinct 3 to process payment to Abel Rodriguez for River Park Bathrooms Repairs, to be paid from Budgeted Funds.
18. Court to consider and/or upon request from Precinct 3 to complete Fence Repairs at the Iraan Roping Arena, to be paid from Budgeted Funds.
19. Court to consider and/or act upon establishing Selection Review Committee, Selection Criteria and approve Engineer/Architect/Surveyor Rating Sheet for the Texas Community Development Grant Program for 2025-2026, Community Development Fund as administered by the Texas Department of Agriculture.
20. Court to call for Requests for Qualifications for Procurement of Engineering/ Architectural/Surveying Services (RFQ), for the Texas Community Development Grant Program for 2025-2026, Community Development Fund as administered by the Texas Department of Agriculture. (Previously approved on August 12, 2024). RFQ’s to be received and opened in the Pecos County Auditor’s Office by 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2025. RFQ will be awarded in Commissioners Court on Monday, March 10, 2025.
21. Court to consider and/or act upon allowing Auditors Office to apply for US Bank Voyager Fleet Gas Card for the Fort Stockton Fire Department to replace current Fuel Card.
22. Court to award Bid for Pecos County Iraan EMS Building Addition and Renovations.
23. COUNTY TREASURER TO PRESENT:
A. Court to approve or disapprove Financial Report.
B. Court to consider and/or approve payment of County Overtime.
24. COUNTY AUDITOR TO PRESENT:
A. Court to approve or disapprove request for Line-Item Transfers and Budget Amendments.
B. Court to approve or disapprove Reports of County Office(s).
C. Court to approve or disapprove Financial Report.
D. Court to examine and approve or disapprove all Accounts.
25. Open discussion with Public and News Media on today’s Agenda Items.
