THE PECOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET IN SPECIAL SESSION ON MONDAY, AUGUST 5, 2024, AT 10:00 A.M. IN THE COUNTY COURTROOM, PECOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 103 W. CALLAGHAN, FORT STOCKTON, TEXAS.

AGENDA:

1. Prayer.

2. Public Comments on Agenda Items.

3. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Minutes of Previous Meeting(s).

4. Court to consider and/or act upon approving the 2022 Annual Pecos County Memorial Hospital Audit Report, as presented by Durbin & Co., LLP.

5. Court to consider and/or act upon allowing payment for Spring Branch Water Well Service, to reperforate existing Water Well and necessary repairs for the Desert Pines Golf Course, to be paid from Contingency Funds and/or Budgeted Funds.

6. Court to consider and/or act upon Pecos County Tax Assessor to submit the Pecos County Rates and to post the Rates on the County Website Homepage in the manner prescribed by the Comptroller: Tax Code 26.17, 26.04 (e).

7. Court to consider and/or act upon Pecos County Tax Assessor to submit the Midland College (WRTTC) Rates and to post the Rates on the County Website Homepage in the manner prescribed by the Comptroller: Tax Code 26.17, 26.04 (e).

8. Court to consider and/or act upon Discussion Reference Tax Rate; take Record Vote and Schedule Both Public Hearings:

a. Pecos County Tax Rate
b. Midland College Branch Maintenance Tax
