THE PECOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET IN REGULAR SESSION ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2026, AT 10:00 A.M. IN THE COUNTY COURTROOM, PECOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 103 W. CALLAGHAN, FORT STOCKTON, TEXAS.
AGENDA:
1. Prayer.
2. Public Comments on Agenda Items.
3. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Minutes of Previous Meeting(s).
4. Court to consider and/or act upon ratifying Inter-Local Agreement for Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service, regarding the Feral Hog Abatement Program, signed by County Judge, October 28, 2025.
5. Court to consider and/or accepting Donation of 75 Pieces of 30ft Sheet Metal Panels, from County Extension Agent (Dalton York) to restore the 4-H Barn.
6. Court to consider and/or act upon renewing Contract between Aqua Metric Sales Company and Pecos County Fresh Water System, for Imperial and Coyanosa Water Meter Software, to be paid from Contingency Funds.
7. Court to consider and/or act upon approving CIS Professional Services Amendment NR.02 to Additional Professional Services Agreement NR.505, in the amount of $3,241.00, for Laptop Software, annual renewal amount of $400.00, to be paid from Precinct 3 Constable Budget.
8. Court to consider and/or act upon Proposal from Construction Consultants-3, regarding Runway Repairs for the Pecos County Airport, (KFST).
9. Court to consider and/or act upon purchasing Aircraft Monitoring Service from Airport Monitoring Systems to Track Flights for TxDot Runway Program.
10. Court to consider and/or act upon Resolution for TxDOT ALP Program for Pecos County Airport.
11. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Spring Branch Water Well Service Change Order No. 1, for Package A and B, for Rooney Park Irrigation Renovations.
12. Court to consider and/or act upon accepting Donation of Plants from Iselda Acosta, for Rooney Park.
13. Court to consider and/or act upon request to TxDOT to conduct a Speed Limit Survey on Hwy 285 South, beginning at Rooney Park Bridge and ending at Mesa View, for Auto and Pedestrian Safety.
14. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Reimbursement Payment to Truesdell Pest Control in the amount of $1,567.74, for Vehicle Tire Damage while assisting Pecos County with Interstate Fire.
15. Court to consider and/or act upon awarding Bid for Lease of Land, Six Hundred Twenty-Eight and Thirty-Five (628.35) Acres, more or less, described as 628.35 +/- Acres of Land, legally described as Abstract 5022, Block 146, Section 18, of T&STL. (Bid deadline extended due to posting time frame).
16. Court to consider and/or act upon awarding Bid for Fuel (#2 Diesel & Unleaded Gasoline), to cover 10/1/2026, through 9/30/2027. Bids were received and opened in the Auditor’s Office until 3:00p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
17. Court to consider and/or act upon request from Pecos County Water Control Improvement District #1, to cut Road (888 E. 51st Lane) in Precinct 4, for a Water Tap.
18. COUNTY TREASURER TO PRESENT:
A. Court to approve or disapprove Financial Report.
B. Court to consider and/or approve payment of County Overtime.
19. COUNTY AUDITOR TO PRESENT:
A. Court to approve or disapprove request for Line-Item Transfers and Budget Amendments.
