THE PECOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET IN REGULAR SESSION ON TUESDAY, MAY 26, 2026, AT 10:30 A.M. IN THE COUNTY COURTROOM, PECOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 103 W. CALLAGHAN, FORT STOCKTON, TEXAS.
AGENDA:
1. Prayer.
2. Public Comments on Agenda Items.
3. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Minutes of Previous Meeting(s).
4. Court to consider and/or act upon Amendment to Agreement with Fort Stockton 4-A Economic Development Corporation, to acquire and make exclusively available to TFS Employees and First Responders to rent or lease, Six Residential, Modular Homes (Housing Units), on behalf of Pecos County. Pecos County will rent or lease to individual First Responders, for use of housing for training and maintaining the West Texas Task Force in Fort Stockton.
5. Court to consider and/or act upon Interlocal Agreement between Pecos County Sheriff’s Office and Pecos County Memorial Hospital District, for Inmate Medical-Sick Call Services.
6. Court to discuss, consider and/or act upon approving DLS Services to repair the Padded Cell at the Pecos County Jail, to be paid from Repair and Maintenance Budget. ($11,557.04).
7. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Contract between Pecos County and Permian Basin Community Centers DBA PermiaCare for Mental Health Deputy Services, (September 1, 2026 to August 31, 2027).
8. Court to consider and/or act upon request from Continental Resources, Inc. To install a Driveway and Culvert on Water Well Field Road in Precinct 4. (Sec.32 Blk. 8, H&GN RR Survey).
9. Court to consider and/or act upon request from Pecos County Water Control & Improvement District #1 to cut 848 E. 51st Lane, in Precinct 4, for a Water Tap.
10. Court to consider and/or act upon Predator Control Reports from USDA-APHIS Wildlife Services.
11. Court to consider and/or act upon accepting Donation from Pecos County Water Improvement District #2, for the Imperial Public Library for the Summer Reading Program.
12. Court to consider and/or act upon authorizing City of Fort Stockton to install, operate, and maintain a Directional Sign, Northeast Corner of the County Courthouse.
13. COUNTY TREASURER TO PRESENT:
A. Court to approve or disapprove Financial Report.
B. Court to consider and/or approve payment of County Overtime.
