Commissioner’s Court Regular Session Agenda 7/27/2026
THE PECOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET IN REGULAR SESSION ON MONDAY, JULY 27, 2026, AT 10:00 A.M. IN THE COUNTY COURTROOM, PECOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 103 W. CALLAGHAN, FORT STOCKTON, TEXAS.
1. Prayer.
2. Public Comments on Agenda Items.
3. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Minutes of Previous Meeting(s).
4. Court to consider and/or act upon reviewing (CTSI) Computer Transition Services, Inc, FY-2027 Budget Report.
5. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Lease Agreement with Texas Political Subdivision of the State of Texas, (Joyful Roots Microschool), for the Historic Schoolhouse Building, located at 201 W. Gallagher Street, Fort Stockton, Texas.
6. Court to consider and/or act upon Assigning University of Texas System Board of Regents Easement #8796 for Oil, Gas and Water Pipelines, in which Pecos County is Lessor and The University of Texas System Board of Regents is Lessee, to the City of Fort Stockton, effective next renewal date being on or about April 1, 2035, and approving payment for renewal of said Lease for the current term being April 1, 2025, through March 31, 2035.
7. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Tax Refund Application(s), as presented by Tax Assessor/Collector.
8. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Report submitted by Tax Assessor/Collector to certify Collections and Total Delinquent Taxes for July 1, 2025, thru June 30, 2026, for Buena Vista Independent School District, City of Fort Stockton, Fort Stockton Independent School District and for CED #18 (FSISD); Iraan General Hospital, Iraan/Sheffield Independent School District (I/SISD), Middle Pecos Ground Water Conservation District, Midland College, Pecos County and Pecos County Memorial Hospital District.
9. Court to consider and/or act upon Sheriff and Constable Fees for 2026.
10. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Monahans Iron & Metal Company to place a Recycling Bin at the Fire Station for collection of Scrap Metal from Precinct 1 and Sheriff’s Office, to be paid to Pecos County.
11. Court to consider and/or act upon Agreement Renewal for the Buena Vista ISD School Resource Officer (SRO), including Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for 2026-2027 School Year.
12. Court to consider and/or act upon Agreement Renewal for the Iraan/Sheffield Collegiate ISD School Resource Officer (SRO), including Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), for 2026-2027 School Year.
13. Court to consider and/or act upon Implementing a Mobile Application (Sheriff APP), for Pecos County Sheriff’s Office, to provide access and transparency for the Public, including Emergency Alerts, Jail Booking Information, Confidential Crime Tips, and other Public-Safety Resources.
14. Court to consider and/or act upon approving Billing Request from ECM Today for the Elections Administrator, for Digitalization, Uploading of Existing Voter Files, and scanning of all Voter Registration Records, to be paid from the Contract Election Fund.
15. Court to consider and/or act upon appointment of Election Judges, Alternate Election Judges, Early Voting Ballot Board Members, and Central Count Station Members for a two-year term, beginning September 1, 2026, and ending August 31, 2028.
16. Court to consider and/or act upon Predator Control Report from USDA-APHIS Wildlife Services.
17. COUNTY TREASURER TO PRESENT:
A. Court to approve or disapprove Financial Report.
B. Court to consider and/or approve Payment of County Overtime.
18. COUNTY AUDITOR TO PRESENT:
A. Court to approve or disapprove request for Line-Item Transfers and Budget Amendments.
B. Court to approve or disapprove Reports of County Office(s).
C. Court to approve or disapprove Financial Report.
D. Court to examine and approve or disapprove all Accounts.
19. Open discussion with Public and News Media on today’s Agenda Items.
20. Court to convene in Budget Workshop for 2027 Budget.
21. Court to consider and/or act upon taking action if necessary on 2027 Budget.
