Information:

  • Public Search Now Available from 1983 to Present Official Public Records: Public Search Available: Notice to Researchers Regarding Land Index Books & Volumes for Deeds, Oil & Gas from sovereignty to 1983 – Pecos QuickLink Site (Opens in a new window)
  • County Government Records.com – Texas (Opens in a new window): This site is used to search for documents that have been recorded in the County Clerk’s office in various counties. Users of this site must register to conduct document searches. Registration is free. As a registered user you will be able to search the index and view summary information about documents. Most counties require a fee to view the image of a document. After you log in, you may purchase images on a “document by document” basis or you may purchase a monthly subscription that allows you to view, download and print unlimited document images from that county. Prices vary by county. The only accepted credit card types are Visa and MasterCard. Please note that there is an upper limit of $1000.00 worth of images per receipt.

  • TexasLawHelp.org is a website dedicated to providing free, reliable legal information to low-income Texans. It is part of a broader effort within the national legal aid community to use technology, specifically the Internet, to enhance and expand the delivery of legal aid.

  • ASSUMED NAME FORMS: Filer is responsible for verifying availability of requested assumed name. Filing an Assumed Name is filing a public notice, it is not a copyright, trademark or incorporated right of ownership. Duplicating a business name is discouraged, but the Clerk’s office cannot prevent it.
